On December 18th of each year, the State of Qatar celebrates its National Day, which is a celebration in commemoration of the founding of the State of Qatar by the Founder, Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad Al Thani, on 18th December 1878.
Qatar has now become a bright sign in the march of civilized achievements, enlightened by its National Vision 2030, reserving a prominent place for itself among civilized countries in balanced policies and openness to all countries of the world. This occasion comes in light of Qatar's readiness to host FIFA World Cup 2022 Finals, which will be launched two years from now, that Qatar has prepared for by completing most of sports facilities and infrastructures to showcase the Championship in a perfect way.
I am pleased to extend on this national occasion my sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar, asking God Almighty to perpetuate the blessings of security, safety, and further progress and prosperity for our dear country.
