The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Dar es Salaam, represented by Mr. Abdullah Saeed Al-Nuaimi, Second Secretary, joined the Arab Group, comprising the Ambassadors of Arab States accredited to the United Republic of Tanzania, in paying a condolence visit to Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, at her residence in Zanzibar, to convey their heartfelt condolences and sympathy following the passing of her husband.

H.E. Mr. Fahad bin Hamad Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development, met with H.E. Mr. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, during his visit to Doha.

His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, met with H.E. Mr. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, at the Amiri Diwan in Doha.

His Excellency Mr. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, received His Excellency Fahad Rashid Al-Muraikhi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Republic of Tanzania, at his office at the Ministry.

Mr. Deus Sanga, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office responsible for Labour, Employment and Relations, met with H.E. Mr. Fahad Rashid Al-Muraikhi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Republic of Tanzania, at the Ministry.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar, represented by Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Dossari, Third Secretary at the Embassy, presented copies of the Holy Qur’an donated by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the State of Qatar to the Office of the Grand Mufti of Zanzibar. The donation was received by Sheikh Mahmoud Musa Wadi, Deputy Grand Mufti of Zanzibar, in the presence of several officials and senior representatives from the Office of the Grand Mufti of Zanzibar.

His Excellency Dr. Ali Hussein Mwinyi, President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, paid a visit to the Embassy to convey his sincere condolences on the passing of the great national figure, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Amir, may Allah have mercy on him.
