His Excellency Mr. Fahad Rashid Al Muraikhi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Republic of Tanzania, visited UNICEF headquarters at the invitation of Ms. Elke Wesch, UNICEF Representative in Tanzania. The visit aimed to explore various projects and initiatives in education and health, as well as the programs implemented by UNICEF in both Zanzibar and the Tanzanian mainland.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the United Republic of Tanzania organized a sports event in celebration of Qatar’s National Sports Day. The event was attended by His Excellency Mr. Fahad bin Rashid Al-Marekhi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Tanzania, along with the Embassy's Diplomatic staff and members. Qatar celebrates this day annually to highlight the importance of sports in fostering a strong and healthy society.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Tanzania hosted Qatar's National Day celebration on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam. The event was graced by the presence of H.E. David Kusato Chome, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, alongside senior Tanzanian political leaders, heads of diplomatic missions, and representatives of regional and international organizations.
