The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Dar es Salaam organized sport activities on the National Sports Day of the State of Qatar. His Excellency Hussain Ahmad Al Homaid, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Republic of Tanzania, participated in the event along with the Embassy diplomatic and local staff, and Qatar Airways employees, as part of the activities of the National Sports Day of the State of Qatar.

The sports activities included football, running and other sports at Jakaya Kikwete Park in Dar es Salaam.

His Excellency the Ambassador delivered a speech, on this occasion, in which he indicated that devoting a sporting day for the country indicates its interest in creating a structurally and mentally healthy society. This comes to encourage the practice of sport in all its forms, and to achieve the 2030 Vision that focuses on human development through practcing sport activites and preserving health as the human being is the basis for the renaissance and development of society.

At the end of the event, the Embassy presented prizes and medals to the winners.
