H.E. Mr. Fahad Rashid Al-Marekhi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Republic of Tanzania, met with H.E. Mr. Andrew Kumwenda, High Commissioner of the Republic of Malawi.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, exploring avenues to enhance cooperation and expand joint initiatives across various fields.

His Excellency Ambassador Al-Marekhi also delivered an official invitation from His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar, to His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, to attend the Second World Summit for Social Development, which is set to take place in Doha from November 4 to 6, 2025.
