His Excellency Mr. Fahad Rashid Al Marekhi Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Republic of Tanzania, took part in a ceremony hosted by the World Food Program to mark the handover of Qatar’s donation of local dates to the program at the port of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.

Also present were Dr. George Sinesius Fasha, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Tanzanian Ports Authority, and Mrs. Sarah Gordon, Country Director and Representative of the World Food Program in Tanzania.

During the event, His Excellency highlighted the enduring strategic partnership between Qatar and the World Food Program spanning over two decades, particularly in the realms of humanitarian aid and food security.
